Lori A. Williams

Believer. Wife. Mother. GiGi. Sister. Artist.

By day, Lori is an entertainment paralegal at a major law firm who works primarily with African American writers, producers, influencers and A-List actors in the film and television industry. By night, she is a writer, producer, content creator, and lover of all things story. For some, the legal world can be a burial ground for creativity, but fortunately the Creator’s plan led Lori to two community-based non-profit organizations that would allow her creativity to be developed, flourish and ultimately bolster her leadership abilities. While serving as a volunteer for the Athens Westmont Section (AWS) of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) Lori’s talents were nurtured. She started a faith-based fitness program for women at NCNW’s So Cal Area Council House, and also Chaired and produced Black History celebrations for ten consecutive years. The gatherings became a staple in the community to recognize the accomplishments of iconic Black men and women in history.  These activities were seeds planted in very fertile ground. She’s the Greatest Superhero is the harvest that bloomed from all the love and support of key women in AWS.

Lori also served as the Executive Director of the non-profit organization Community Writers Group of Los Angeles (CWGLA) from 2019 to 2022 after the passing of its founder, Elise Woodson.  There, she learned everything about self-publishing and with the assistance of her husband Poncho Williams, oversaw the publication of four volumes of CWGLA’s collection of personal narratives entitled Snapshots.

Without the Lord’s ordered steps to AWS and CWGLA, and the Superhero Women of these organizations who supported her without waiver, She’s the Greatest Superhero would not exist. They watered, but God gave the increase.

God’s gifts, God’s glory!
